I'm sorry you've had so much CPAP trouble, but it's encouraging to see your willingness to do so much to make it work! Use whatever device is most available -- set at the prescribed pressure -- & get into a mask that works for you. Whenever one of my patients uses that 'claustrophobia' word, I start looking for ways to get them out of the full face mask. Try a nasal mask, nasal pillows, or even a Liberty. Anything to get your eyes uncovered. That seems to help. And keep asking questions in here! There are many capable & giving helpers.

It appears that the Tranquility was a 'series' of xPAP models, not an individual model. Probably the next series in line was the Legacy series and now the M Series. Respironics Tranquility Auto. Respironics Tranquility BiLevel. Respironics Tranquility 1700. Respironics Tranquility Quest 7300. Respironics Tranquility Quest 7300H. Page 5 The Tranquility Bilevel (Model 1700) system from Respironics, is a medical device that uses a blower. The blower is controlled to pro- vide two levels of pressure. The controller allows for the adjustment of the way the pressure changes from one level to the other.

Go to cpapauction.com and see what you can find in the line of lightly used xPAPs there.
Here's is the Users Manual for the Respironics Tranquility bi-level in pdf format. You can download it and print it out. I haven't gone thru it to read it but usually there is a diagram and list of all necessary parts and how to assemble and use them in the Users Manual (tho not how to set the pressures).

The Tranquility was introduced about 1999 so the model is about 10 years old, tho not necessarily the individual devices such as yours - or the one above.
